👉 Project Description

We are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a project at Thales, a major actor in the defense sector. As a Support Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing IT systems, ensuring high-quality service for employees. You'll be working in a dynamic and stimulating environment where your technical and interpersonal skills will make a real impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively and reactively resolving tickets using Jira ServiceDesk.
• Providing both local and remote support, including on-site troubleshooting.
• Installing and configuring hardware (notably using SCCM).
• Monitoring and maintaining IT systems and networks.
• Analyzing and improving systems, processes, and procedures.
• Participating in IT innovation projects and strengthening cybersecurity.
• Maintaining and updating the internal knowledge base (Wiki).
• Writing technical documentation for users and IT teams.
• Anticipating failures and implementing preventive solutions.

👉 Your strengths

-Solid experience in IT support (several years in a similar role).

-In-depth knowledge of:

• Windows and Linux environments
• Virtualized infrastructure
• Networking (LAN, TCP/IP)
• Cybersecurity
• Microsoft Office tools
• Active Directory and domain management
• SCCM and IT monitoring tools

-Familiarity with system monitoring and network printing.

• Fluent in French & English
