We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Manager/Qualified Person (QP) to manage and ensure compliance with quality standards related to manufacturing and distribution processes for Food Supplements across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. This role is integral in maintaining our commitment to meeting regulatory requirements and upholding global quality standards.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager/Qualified Person (QP), your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the Qualified Person (QP) in accordance with local regulations governing medicinal products.
- Serving as the Responsible Person for Distribution, in line with applicable European directives and national regulations.
- Certifying each batch prior to market release or export, and maintaining accurate certification records.
- Ensuring proper documentation and quality agreements are established with all involved parties in manufacturing, testing, and distribution.
- Overseeing a documentation system that aligns with global procedures.
- Managing audits and qualifications of all manufacturing and testing partners.
- Implementing processes to address complaints from key vendors, including maintaining a vendor list, establishing agreements, and ensuring regular audits are conducted.
- Leading the response to critical quality issues, product complaints, recalls, and withdrawals, working with relevant authorities when needed.
- Preparing for and managing regulatory inspections.
- Approving and overseeing the training program to ensure all personnel are adequately trained and qualified.
- Identifying and investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring and reporting on key quality indicators.
Job Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Registered as a Qualified Person under relevant national regulations.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Qualified Person under supervision.
- At least two years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency.
