Finance/Business Controlling Consultant

Location: Brussels

We are seeking a dynamic Finance/Business Controlling Consultant to join our team in Brussels. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a helicopter view of strategic business decisions, collaborate with top management, and drive impactful financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end process for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning (P&L, Capex, Cashflow) in collaboration with business leadership.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
• Develop and deliver management and operational reporting, dashboards, and insightful financial analysis.
• Act as a financial expert on strategic and cross-functional projects.
• Drive business case development and supervise financial impact assessments.
• Continuously challenge the status quo, seeking efficiencies and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Support the CFO and Management with ad-hoc financial requests.

Profile:

Hard Skills:

• Master’s degree with 8-15 years of experience in Finance or Management Consulting.
• Strong expertise in accounting, financial analysis, planning, and controlling.
• Proven experience in finance consulting, project management, or financial audit.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
• Telecom sector experience is a plus.
