What do you need to be SMART Functional Analyst?

• 5+ years of experience in functional analysis and software design
• Strong experience with API integrations, preferably in financial or accounting systems
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Able to clearly translate business needs into technical requirements
• Skilled in working with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiar with REST APIs, IT Security, and software development best practices

What will your role be at SMART?

• Lead the functional design of information systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Perform preliminary analysis, draft functional specifications, and support development from concept through delivery.
• Analyse and validate invoicing/accounting software, especially around payment statuses and tracking.
• Review API documentation and translate into actionable technical requirements for developers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and implementation.
• Provide functional support and testing, ensuring robust, high-quality software delivery.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements and assist with system upgrades.
