What do you need to be SMART Data Engineer?

• Fluent French (C2 level)
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Developer/Engineer
• Proven experience with Cloud Data tools (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Strong knowledge of Python and PySpark
• Proficient in SQL and TSQL
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Dimensional modelling expertise
• Understanding of Data Lake principles

What will your role be at SMART?

• Develop ingestion flows using Fabric Data Factory (and Azure Data Factory)
• Develop transformation flows using Fabric Factory Notebooks
• Optimise queries with a focus on Azure cost management
• Support data modelling within the Lake House
• Implement the medallion architecture (silver & gold layers)
• Define and execute automated unit tests
• Participate in effort estimation and documentation
• Ensure ongoing maintenance and incident resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
