Your Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding client invoices and ensure timely follow-up through professional reminders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal clients (lawyers), offering clear and client-focused communication both by phone and in writing.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to resolve open items and improve processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the payment status and collection actions taken.
• Detect potential payment risks early and advise on appropriate credit limits; liaise with external collection agencies when necessary.
• Gradually take on additional accounting responsibilities to support the broader finance team.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a desire to grow professionally.
• Previous experience in a similar collections or accounting role is a strong asset.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, with a specific interest in accounts receivable management.
• Strong communication skills paired with a customer-oriented yet assertive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently, even under pressure or during peak periods.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with good command of the other national language and excellent English proficiency.
