Your Function

As Legal & Compliance Director BeNe, you will lead legal and compliance initiatives across the region, ensuring the company’s legal strategies are aligned with its business objectives while managing risks.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of BeNe’s Executive Committee, lead and inspire the legal & compliance team to provide exceptional legal services.
• Advise General Management on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and compliance.
• Manage all legal aspects related to real estate, including easements, leases, and transactions.
• Oversee legal structures for joint ventures, acquisitions, and disposals.
• Support operational teams with contract management, insurance, and banking matters.
• Provide strategic legal recommendations to ensure regulatory compliance, lead compliance programs, particularly in antitrust and data protection.

Your Profile

• You are a qualified lawyer in an EU member state or a similar jurisdiction.
• You have at least 12 years of legal experience in an international environment.
• You have extensive knowledge of corporate law, with expertise in multiple legal domains (e.g., business law, labor law, construction law).
• You are fluent in French (native level) and have excellent command of English; Dutch is an advantage.
• You are pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented.
• You have outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• You excel under pressure and enjoy working in team-based environments.
