Department Overview


As part of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Officer will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong, capable workforce aligned with business needs. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and ensure a seamless recruitment process while contributing to employer branding and internal HR objectives.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidate profiles
  • Conduct in-person and phone interviews
  • Administer assessments and coordinate background/reference checks
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide hiring recommendations
  • Organize and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain proactive follow-up throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Act as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating company culture, benefits, and values
  • Maintain and manage recruitment pipelines using an ATS
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners (agencies, universities, etc.)
  • Stay updated on organizational structure and relevant labor regulations


Secondary Responsibilities


  • Support HR reporting and recruitment analytics
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and feedback loops


Required Skills & Experience


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Workday experience is a strong asset
  • Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experienced in leveraging LinkedIn and other platforms for sourcing
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities independently
  • Proven negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Belgian employment legislation is a plus


Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
