Department Overview
As part of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Officer will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong, capable workforce aligned with business needs. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and ensure a seamless recruitment process while contributing to employer branding and internal HR objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidate profiles
- Conduct in-person and phone interviews
- Administer assessments and coordinate background/reference checks
- Present shortlisted candidates and provide hiring recommendations
- Organize and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Maintain proactive follow-up throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Act as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating company culture, benefits, and values
- Maintain and manage recruitment pipelines using an ATS
- Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners (agencies, universities, etc.)
- Stay updated on organizational structure and relevant labor regulations
Secondary Responsibilities
- Support HR reporting and recruitment analytics
- Manage stakeholder expectations and feedback loops
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Workday experience is a strong asset
- Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experienced in leveraging LinkedIn and other platforms for sourcing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities independently
- Proven negotiation and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Belgian employment legislation is a plus
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
