technical co-founder (CTO)
to drive product development and technology strategy. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Co-Founder/CTO at TeOnto located in the Brussels Metropolitan Area with the flexibility of work from home. The Co-Founder/CTO will be responsible for leading the technical vision and development of the company, overseeing the implementation and integration of ontology solutions, and nurturing strategic partnerships for business growth on a day-to-day basis. Own the technology vision & architecture for TeOnto’s AI-powered BI platform. Develop & lead the AI/ML strategy, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions. Build & lead the engineering team, from early MVP to full-scale product. Collaborate with the business team to align tech with customer needs and market demand. Secure & manage tech partnerships, ensuring smooth integration of AI with BI tools. Qualifications AI & BI Expertise – Strong background in AI/ML, data analytics, or ontological profiling. Full-Stack Tech Leadership – Experience with AI models, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and enterprise SaaS. Startup Mindset – Ability to build from scratch, iterate fast, and balance vision with execution. Fundraising & Growth – Comfortable working with investors and scaling technology post-funding. Hands-on & Strategic – Someone who can code in the early days, then scale a team. Analytical skills and research abilities. Effective communication and sales skills. Marketing knowledge and strategic thinking. Experience in technical leadership roles. Proven track record of successful project management.
