SAP EWM Consultant

SAP EWM Consultant required urgently for a leading award winning manufacturing End Client based in the heart of Belgium.

As a Senior SAP EWM Consultant, you will be responsible for establishing and optimizing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions.

• Project Analysis: Conduct end-to-end analysis with the business to determine the best approach for transitioning from side-car EWM to embedded EWM. Establish the foundation for EWM to be prepared for warehouse automation, and refine other EWM processes taking into account the existing setup at another site.

• Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP EWM modules to meet specific client requirements.

• Process Analysis: Analyze current EWM processes and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Workshops: Lead workshops and training sessions for end-users and stakeholders, together with the team.

• Documentation: Document and maintain SAP EWM configurations and technical specifications.

• Testing and Validation: Perform system testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.

• Support Tickets and Change Requests: Assist and support colleagues as needed.

• Guiding and Coaching: Provide guidance to the colleague responsible for the automation aspect, based on experience.

Technical profile requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of extensive functional and technical experience.

• Participation in multiple full-cycle implementations in SAP EWM, with at least one project in a lead role.

• Experience with embedded EWM is essential.

• Experience with warehouse automation is a plus.

• Debugging experience is preferred.

Non-Technical profile requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively with developers

• Must be customer-facing and sensitive to the cultural differences within the company.

• Must be able to develop strong collaboration and communication with the business and other IS colleagues, acting as one team.

Language proficiencies:

• Fluent speaking and writing English.

• Other languages are an asset.
