About the Role - We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to join our team in Zeebrugge, Belgium. You will be a member of the plant management team, and be responsible for translating our manufacturing strategy into an operational plan that ensures reliability to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the existing maintenance processes and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency of the complete plant, including tankfarm, blending & processing area, the 7 production lines, and the Utilities
• Track performance for continuous improvement, through aligned KPIs
• Integrate quality, hygiene and safety in the maintenance processes to create a strong culture of safety
• Manage our assets, with focus on evolving the energy efficiency of our assets
• Own the site maintenance & capex budget (>10M€)
• Execute changes in close cooperation with production to improve productivity
• Build people and organization capability, for example developing experts within the team and leading a team of 45 highly skilled technicians and engineers
• Strengthen the continuous improvement mindset in our site, to unlock our potential as a team

Qualifications - The successful candidate will be an Industrial Engineer and have 5+ years’ experience as a maintenance manager, with proven track record in a production environment. We are looking for a leader that is capable of driving culture change across our site, and demonstrate strong leadership skills to develop our teams. An ability to work in fast moving environments and to collaborate effectively across teams is essential.
