Project Manager – Rare Disease Study (Belgium) – Contract

Upsilon Global is seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to support a Rare Disease Clinical Study in Belgium. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the study, from start-up to close-out, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

● Contract Length: 12 months

● FTE: 0.3 - 0.5 FTE

● Therapeutic Area: Rare Disease - Cystic Fibrosis

● Location: Belgium

Key Responsibilities:

● Oversee clinical trial execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

● Manage regulatory submissions and ethics committee documentation.

● Monitor site activation, patient recruitment, and study progress.

● Collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and regulatory bodies.

● Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

● Provide leadership to clinical teams

Requirements:

● 5+ years of project management experience in clinical research.

● Experience in rare disease trials is preferred.

● Strong understanding of Belgian and EU regulatory requirements.

● Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

● Fluency in English
