Data Engineer with strong focus on migration

A dynamic and international group in a technical, project-oriented environment is currently looking for a Data Engineer with a strong focus on data migration to join their internal IT team. You'll support digital transformation projects across different business units.

Job description
In this role, you'll facilitate the transition from legacy systems to modern application environments. You'll be responsible for designing and executing high-quality data migration processes, ensuring business continuity and clean, reliable data in the new systems.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and execute end-to-end migration processes, from blueprint to go-live.

• Build robust ETL workflows for data extraction, validation, transformation, and loading.

• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure high data quality, completeness, and consistency.

• Coordinate migration timelines and contribute to planning and risk assessment.

• Document technical designs and best practices.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data migration or data engineering roles.

• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Effective communicator, both written and verbal.

• Solid knowledge of ETL tools and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

• Experience with SQL, data integration tools, and/or ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
