Database Specialist - High-Performance Database Expert

We're partnered with a leading SaaS company specializing in security software. Currently, they're looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join their team in Brussels.

This is an opportunity to work with large-scale, high-performance databases in a company that plays a critical role in protecting businesses and individuals from security threats.

• Manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure database security and performance in a high-traffic SaaS environment.
• Perform database backups, recovery, and tuning to maintain system reliability.
• Support database scalability and migration projects.
• Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to improve database performance and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with database best practices and security measures.

• Proven experience as a DBA working with Oracle, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong ambition to work in Oracle; Oracle DBA certification is a plus but will be funded if not yet obtained.
• Experience with high-availability and large-scale database environments.
• Knowledge of database tuning, indexing, replication, and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
