We're partnering with a leading SaaS company specializing in security software to fill a critical role for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA).

This opportunity involves working with large-scale, high-performance databases in a company that plays a key part in protecting businesses and individuals from security threats.

• Manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure database security and performance in a high-traffic SaaS environment.
• Perform database backups, recovery, and tuning to maintain system reliability.
• Support database scalability and migration projects.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to improve database performance and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with database best practices and security measures.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a DBA working with Oracle, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• A strong ambition to work with Oracle; Oracle DBA certification is a plus, but we'll fund it if you don't already have it.
• Experience with high-availability and large-scale database environments.
• Knowledge of database tuning, indexing, replication, and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
