We're partnered with a leading SaaS company specializing in security software. Currently they're looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join their team in Brussels. This is an opportunity to work with large-scale, high-performance databases in a company that plays a critical role in protecting businesses and individuals from security threats. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of the company's database infrastructure. You will have strong experience in Oracle, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL and be eager to deepen their expertise in Oracle. If not already certified, the company will fund an Oracle DBA certification to support skill development. Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL databases Ensure database security and performance in a high-traffic SaaS environment Perform database backups, recovery, and tuning to maintain system reliability Support database scalability and migration projects Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to improve database performance and efficiency Stay up to date with database best practices and security measures Your profile Proven experience as a DBA working with Oracle, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL Strong ambition to work in Oracle; Oracle DBA certification is a plus but will be funded if not yet obtained Experience with high-availability and large-scale database environments Knowledge of database tuning, indexing, replication, and backup strategies Familiarity with cloud-based architectures is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Offer Up to EUR6.5K for strong and experienced candidates Full package including company car Full Oracle DBA certification funding 3 days remote working and a choice of Brussels office to attend to Working in a complex and high-pressure environment with the chance to improve your DBA skills Collaborative team culture that encourages career growth
