Our Ghent-based office is home to a multilingual team of experts who’s experience stretches further than traditional public relations. We go beyond press releases and our focus is on creating meaningful connections between brands, media, influencers, and consumer culture.

We collaborate with a diverse range of lifestyle and corporate clients, including brands like Spotify, Fujifilm, SMEG, Alken-Maes, RAY, MeDirect, Panos, Guylian, VLAM, Bel&Bo, Rituals, and other (inter)national brands.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re currently searching for a (experienced) PR Account Manager to drive successful campaigns and foster strong client relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop creative PR strategies that deliver true impact for clients.
• Take charge of PR plans from ideation to execution, ensuring smooth operations at every stage.
• Oversee client projects end-to-end, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and delivering results.
• Tap into the Belgian media landscape to boost campaign visibility.
• Copywriting and creating engaging content.
• Organize memorable events, workshops, press lunches, and other activities.
• Identify and explore new business opportunities, contributing to Walkie Talkie’s further growth.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven (first) experience in PR and communication, with strong project management skills.
• An understanding of the Belgian media landscape and effective media strategies.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with proficiency in English.
• A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to tackling challenges.
• A creative mindset and an eye for detail, ensuring quality in all deliverables.
