Senior GL Accountant – Fashion industry - Brussels

One of our client is currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant

As a GL Accountant, you will join a passionate team and report directly to the CFO.

Tasks include, among others :

• Monthly closings
• Contributing to the optimization of procedures and accounting software
• Monitoring accounts payable and general ledger accounts
• Overseeing fixed assets (duration, rate, etc.), intercompany transactions, and invoice approvals
• Verifying rent invoices, utility breakdowns, and accounting activities
• Tax declarations, and VAT reports
• Conducting statistical surveys
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Acting as the main point of contact for management control and external auditors

Your profile - GL Accountant :

• Degree in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• You have a strong interest in taxation and managing multiple entities
• You are fluent in French and have an operational understanding of Dutch
