BIM Consultant

Functie

Our client is looking for a senior BIM Consultant (5 to 10 years' experience).

As a BIM Consultant, you will analyse the various applied techniques, identify the interfaces between these techniques, create and optimise project processes together with the competence centres and implement technologies and methods.

During this implementation, you support the project teams and competence centres to better apply the BIM principles.

You therefore have an impact on the efficiency our projects, on continuous improvement and you ensure the updating of technologies and methods.

Tasks

You will:

• Implement and support the teams in the use of techniques and products
• Analyse the disciplines, define requirements, identify interfaces and consolidate everything into optimised solutions
• Follow up the existing processes and adapt them based on monitoring
• Document the solutions and communicate these solutions to the teams
• Follow up your colleagues on your projects
• Help with the content and realisation of the BIM roadmap
• Analyse problems to propose feasible solutions, taking into account budget, timing and other constraints
• Work in different teams, assembled according to the scope of each project and are committed to the success of these projects (Project Delivery, Civil & Track, Electrification, Signaling, Logistics & Supply, Procurement)
• Report to stakeholders about progress and results

Required Technical skills (5 to 10 years' experience)

• Practical knowledge of BIM principles or AEC products and you have a passion for automation, parameterisation and IT development (AutoCAD, Revit, Dynamo, Naviswork, ACC)
• Experience with BIM implementations or experience with engineering processes
• At least 10 years of experience with design tools
• At least 2 years of experience with ACC Docs and ACC BIM Collaborate

Desired Technical Skills

• You like to discover things and have a broad view on future technological evolutions
• You have advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel...)
• Knowledge of IS019650 1 & 2 is an asset

Soft skills

• You are communicative, accurate, methodical and autonomous and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team
• You keep a helicopter view on a very wide range of solutions and products and can structure them
• You are curious and have a strong customer focus
• You are flexible and able to adapt to a changing situation
• You have a critical mind and enjoy working in a team

Required language skills

• English: Very good knowledge
• Dutch or French: Very good knowledge of one language, basic knowledge of the other language
