Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Operator Microalgae at axabio in Hemiksem. The role involves tasks such as operating biotechnological processes including post-processing, ensuring compliance with the highest quality standards, and overseeing general maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production equipment for the cultivation and processing of algae.
• Conducting quality checks on raw materials and finished products to meet the strict standards of the nutraceutical and cosmetics industries.
• Maintaining optimal production levels and efficient workflows.
• Collecting and recording production data, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues or deviations in the production process.
• Ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment in accordance with company guidelines and legal requirements.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve continuous improvements in the production process.

Qualifications

• At least high school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Experience in a production environment, preferably in the food, nutraceutical, or cosmetics industry.
• Skills in preventive maintenance and technical knowledge of production equipment and processes.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills and a proactive work attitude.
• Relevant certification or training in process operations or related field.
