Senior Claims & Fleet Officer

eCarsTrade is a B2B reseller of used vehicles (ex-lease, trade-in, and short-term rental cars), serving a diverse customer base across Europe. Through our proprietary platform, we facilitate car auctions and manage our own stock. You understand the technical aspects of vehicles, you have a talent for organizing processes, good negotiation skills and are always keen on getting things done.

Responsibilities:

• To take full ownership of the claims cycle towards:
• Suppliers (Leasings, Dealership groups, ST Rentals...)
• Customers (SME Car traders around EU)
• Logistics partners
• Set-up, automate and optimize claim process
• Create reports and communicate the results to the C-Level management
• Negotiate and compromise to find the best solutions for all involved parties
• Register and follow up on repair issues (Suppliers / Customers)
• Register and follow up on insurance cases.
• Documentation/administrative processing
• Coordinating company fleet (+40 units) readiness. Making sure all company owned cars are presentable and accessible.
• Cross communication throughout the company departments (especially Sales, warehouse and Purchase teams).

Requirements:

• You have more than 3 years of working experience
• Good automotive technical knowledge
• Preferably experience in claims handling, mechanics or fleet management
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Very efficient and independent problem solver
• Eye for small details!
• Team player and able to work alone on important tasks as a problem solver
• High sense of responsibility and punctuality
• Energetic, innovative, enjoy new challenges
• You are fluent in English and French or Dutch! Other languages are a plus
