Environment, Health and Safety Manager

A client of mine is looking for an HSE Manager to assist on a full-time contract for the next 12 months to replace the previous manager who has left. You would be part of the sites HSE team working to increase the Safety culture on site and increase safety during the Day-to-Day operations on site, working with legal documents and helping develop the safety strategy.

START: June

LOCATION: Brussels, Belgium

CONTRACT LENGTH– 12 months

HOURS: 5 days per week

HSE Manager – Food & Beverage Industry – Brussels

Specification:

• At least 4 years’ experience within HSE
• Dutch Fluency
• Preventieadviseur level 2 as a minimum
• Experience working as part of an internal HSE team
• Experience in Managerial Positions
• Experience within a production environment, Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical etc.
• A motivation to drive good safety practice.
• A people person, positive and motivational with workers

The requirement for the role is to assist in internal HSEQ projects – training, Programmes and procedures to rollout, conduct risk assessments and Incident investigations on site whilst also increasing safety culture.
