Your Mission:
- Pioneer the exploration of novel ballistic materials to elevate our existing soft and hard armour capabilities.
- Architect and propose bespoke ballistic armour systems tailored to the unique demands of public sector tenders.
- Partner closely with military, law enforcement, and other end-users to gather invaluable real-world feedback through on-site testing and data collection, fueling continuous product enhancement.
- Collaborate with our design experts to seamlessly integrate superior ballistic protection with optimal ergonomic design in our carrier vest systems.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their critical needs and present compelling new ballistic solutions.
- Participate in dynamic field tests and product demonstrations, capturing essential data for R&D and future innovations.
- Work hand-in-hand with internal teams across R&D, sales, procurement, and marketing to ensure seamless product development and successful market introductions.
- Contribute to the preparation for industry events, showcasing our advancements and engaging with potential clients.
- Stay ahead of the curve on public tender specifications, ensuring all our ballistic armour solutions meet stringent requirements.
- Act as a vital link between our technical advancements and commercial strategies, playing a key role in customer engagement and solution presentations.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- A Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- A strong enthusiasm for ballistic protection technologies and materials science.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, including military and law enforcement professionals.
- Proven ability to collect and analyze field test data, providing actionable insights for product improvement.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities, with a knack for proposing and testing innovative solutions.
- Willingness to travel for field testing, customer meetings, and industry exhibitions.
- A detailed understanding of public tender processes and their technical requirements (a significant plus!).
- A commercially aware mindset, with the ability to articulate technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
Bonus Points For:
- Hands-on experience with ballistics testing and material characterization.
- Familiarity with military and law enforcement equipment, particularly ballistic vests and plates.
- Knowledge of ergonomic design principles for wearable gear.
